To the critics (competitors) of Lochaber Highland Estates

Postby foist on my own petard » Fri Feb 20, 2009 5:40 am

Why don't the critics of Lochaber Highland Estates go so far as to say it is illegal? Why don't such critics give their full, legal names and addresses? Could it be that Lochaber Highland Estates is completely legal and the critics are just jealous and wrong? At least Lochaber Highland Estates conveys a foot of land (or more). I have yet to see one single, credible claim that owning a square foot of Scottish land does not entitle you to call yourself a Lord, Lard or Lady. Food for thought.

I do agree with you f.o.m.o.p. Critics say what might be but not what is.

If anyone knows of some legal impediment of why this title of Lord/Laird or Lady isn't legitimate. Speak now or forever hold their piece!!! (Or until you find something out)

Every company in the world has competitors and critics. Type into Google "walmart sucks" and you'll see its not limited to small companies, even huge companies have people against them! Pretty much every company will have competitors saying this and saying that...its just life you can't please everyone!

I have noticed that our critic poster and his posts have vanished. Sad, I was having fun.
I know it's not real, but it's fun!

If these people were to take the trouble to look in the Oxford English Dictionary the definition of Laird is; ‘Scottish Form of Lord, a landed proprietor, hence Laird/Lordship.’
Well I am the proprietor a piece of land in Scotland, so by definition, if I choose, I may call myself Laird/Lord. I do not pretend to be a Peer of the Realm, nor was I told I would become one.

Just remember, these folks have an axe to grind. What that axe is, I don't know. But I do know I own a small plot of land in Scotland, to go with my one square inch of Hell, Michigan (bought 6/6/06). Maybe next, the moon?

Hello.
I see you bought your piece of Hell on my birthday. That number 666 follows me everywhere; I was born 6/6/51 (5+1). It even appears twice in my mobile phone number. Spooky eh!
By the way, if you want a piece of the Moon try;

Good Luck, and as my Irish Grandmother used to say; ‘May you be in Heaven half an hour before The Devil knows you're dead.'

Lochaber Highland Estates was straight with me. They offered me one square foot of Scottish land and that's what I got. No misrepresentation. No fraud. I am a happy boy and all of the critics can kiss my lordly arse!

Speaking for myself, I don't need to own an inch in Hell. I used to live in the San Fernando Valley, California, and that's close enough to Hell for me, thank you very much.

well there are some things to acknowledge firstly that simply owning a ft of land makes you a laird. its also noted that by being a laird of scotland your wife isnt a lady by right of marrage though this is conferred on lordship estates, laird isnt a lord also it is simply land owner also i have read on some offical site i cant find seemingly that lairds of scotland cant conferr lord titles only laird due to this reason of not being a lord as set out by royalty only royalty can bestow a lordship not a lord of the manor that only allows the "lord of the manor of were ever " at the end of name not the beginning ie joe 90 lord of the manor of lochaber not lord joe 90 these are called manorial titles feudal titles conferr lord or lady on both husband and wife and there exspensive the banony of macdonald was sold for £1million which is i believe the manor in which we all are residing as lords ladies and lairds of and this ability to name our selfs as such is not conferred by land but by the lochaber company selling the land and can be removed by the same ppl as they choose i believe if you all read your plot certificate proply mines not to hand its with family kept safe ill check it again but am sure it states it there somewhere

still its a bit of fun ppl dont generally no whats whats not even those in councils banks and other agencies its all just ashumed u got id proving a title thats good enough for them there not payed to question the legitimaces of paper work but if you go to an independant solicitor they will give you all the facts required show em what you got how your titles bestowed and such fact is you dont even need to buy any land for a title change its a part of deed poll you can have the forms done by any solicitor for far less and you dont even register the forms after you have signed them i had mine witness by a solicitor just to look better but my friend could have signed it showing just how unimportant the paper really is i changed my name by deed poll a few years back i did more to do that than i have for this had to provide my birth certificate proff of address national insurance have about 8 pieces of paper legal gargon the works to affect, this is 1 a4 sheet highly dubious but its a joke for me any way so im not bother plus im a green party guy so planting trees is the main thing not a silly extra word b4 my name that and a great giggle at being lord almighty hahaha ppls faces is classic but there you go cyas
