Gidday and Kia ora

Postby Lord McDonald » Fri Nov 06, 2009 12:32 am

Hi Everyone,

Have just purchased 3 tiny estates (1 for me, one for brother, and one for father). I'm a Kiwi (hence the traditional Maori greeting Kia ora) living in Australia (hence the traditional aussie grteeing Gidday).

Can't wait for th packages to arrive!

Welcome Lord McDonald.

My husband and I just became a Lord and Lady too. We received our package this morning. I'm sure you will be very impressed by yours when it arrives.

I didn't tell my husband what I'd done and just handed him the package this morning telling him I'd made him a Lord!

His face was a picture. I don't think he's got over the surprise yet LOL.

Hello and a big welcome to you all!
You can identify a true gentleman by how he behaves with the waiter and the taxi driver, not how he behaves when at tea with the Queen.

Hi & G'day, I'm an Aussie married to a Kiwi (Who is now also a Lord !) We live in Australia but "cross the ditch" regularly to see his family.
Welcome to the site.
We're just in the process of sorting out travel to Scotland for next summer (June-Aug)-to visit family & check out our Estates (of course). Travel Agent seemed impressed to be booking for a Lord & Lady - reckons we might get bumped up on the flight - we'll see!
