Tulloch Farm close to Lairds Wood

Postby maddyweb » Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:47 pm

Hi Lords, Ladies and everyone,

After purchasing a title and a plot last year for my husband's 40th birthday in August, I decided as an extra surprise to take him to visit the area.

We booked a stay in a cottage on Tulloch Farm (it is linked to the Lochaber website). I have to say it was a fantastic week we had. The farm, it's owners and friends from the animal kingdom(sheep, horses, dogs, chickens..........absolutely fab.

It is dog friendly (we have a black lab, and they have about 4!) Fantastic walks and lovely breathtaking scenery.

We live in Liverpool and the 8 hour drive was SOOOOOOOOO worth it! We intend to return.

Tulloch is literally on the Lochaber estate.

Would be interested to hear from anyone else who has stayed there?

Maddy

I moved your post into this new forum, hope you don't mind! Thought it would be a good idea to have an accommodation forum for people to give recommendations (and warnings if necessary!) about local places to stay

For anyones info the Tulloch Farm website is

www.tullochfarm.co.uk

Thanks

Laura

I am trying to put a tour together from the US and maybe we can stay in the winter. I grew up in Germany and miss skiing. And sledding and Ice scating. lol

Lady Arwen, let us know when you've got some prices for that tour together, we are in San Antonio and would love to make the trip if its affordable, we have family in
Leichester and would want to visit them and possibly we could all spend some time in Lochaber.
