Our wedding plans

Postby Lord Elliott » Wed Aug 26, 2009 7:58 pm

Looking to have a Scottish wedding here in Canada.
Questions:

1). what side does the shawl get pinned on a lady? What shoulder does it hang on.

2). who pins on the shawl once you are pronounced man and wife? the clergy man or the grooms parent, or the groom?

Thanks for any input.
You can identify a true gentleman by how he behaves with the waiter and the taxi driver, not how he behaves when at tea with the Queen.

An' the wind softly sings the story of the braves lad of long ago.
