North Carolina Jacobite Lady

Postby j.gael » Fri Aug 14, 2009 3:02 am

Hello to all the Lords and Ladies...I am now a Lady myself as I have purchased my lot...but more exciting for me than being a lady...is owning a small piece of Scotland...my hame away from home. I have Scottish friends who are now neighbors of mine in the Laird's Wood. It is also good to know that no one can come in and develop that wee piece of paradise.
And a great big hello to any of my Na Fir Dileas family on this forum.
Lady Lindsay of Lochaber

Hello and welcome!
You can identify a true gentleman by how he behaves with the waiter and the taxi driver, not how he behaves when at tea with the Queen.

preserving nature

Postby foist on my own petard » Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:36 am

I don't know about preserving nature. On my own, one-square-foot estate, a single footprint would be a major excavation and would squash all of the wildlife (worms, crickets, beetles, etc.). : -- )
