I love that last one. It reminds me of a scene in the Lord of the Rings. One of those Huorns. All tangled up and wild.

I've been there and had a really good look...via Google Earth.

If any of you aren't familiar with Google Earth, just go to their website and you can download this fascinating tool for browsing the planet.

If you are lucky enough to live in a town where there is high resolution, you can have a bird's eye view of your own home

Lord Mason,

As I remember I took the O'Flatherty Arms from a website, put it in Photobucket and then whittled it down to size for an avatar.
The hardest part was to get it down to size. It's quite a while since I did it, maybe someone has some more up to date information?

Eoin.

Sorry not to reply sooner but both the computer and I have been out of action for a bit.

Just type 'Photobucket' into Google and the site will come up, it is a fairly user-friendly photo hosting site; of the which there are many on the web.

type the coat of arms you want into google, go to google images and look for the one you want right click your mouse over the image and click on save image as, then when the box comes up save it as crest or something and save it to your desk top so it is easy to find then go to this site.

http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
and you will be able to make your avatar there.
hope this helps
