Live Chat

Postby AllanRM » Sun Aug 03, 2008 1:54 pm

I was wondering what others thought of a live chat facility. This is not difficult to implement and might be a bit of fun.

I would suggest that, while the chat room would be available all of the time, possibly, a set time for a general session might be a good way to start.

An alternative possibility might be a voice chat room. This is also an easy thing to set up.

What do you think? If enough people are interested I could do a quick set up even on a trial basis or as a one off.

I totally agree on the fact that only Nuts eat Squirrels. They are not Kosher for sure.

I would love to see a chatroom Lord Allan, but maybe you ought to catch Lady Laura's ear by sending her a PM or Email. She's the one who makes the decisions on this Forum

That's a good question. I don't know. I do, however, have a chat room available complete with a voice facility and if I were to get enough interest I would be more than willing to make it available. I would suggest that, if there were enough interest, a pre-arranged meeting or two (set times I mean) might be the way to test the waters.

Lets see if enough interest appears - I am placing no time limit on this offer to set it up.

I think maybe the best solution is just to PM each other your msn messenger ID's and talk thru MSN if you want a live chat. I'd rather keep this just as a forum at the moment please

I think that I may have given a wrong impression by starting this topic in the 'Forum Improvements' location.

What I have been talking about is not part of the forum. It is actually closer to the above suggestion regarding chatting through a different medium.

I am sorry for any confusion caused by my posting wrongly.

As suggested above, please contact me through PM or email if you are interested in taking this further.

Like minded people talking in a like minded manner about things that they like.
