If you have a 100 or 1000 square foot plot you can camp free of charge on the estate.

For people wishing to camp but do not own enough land to put a tent on - there is a campsite in the village of Duror (where the land is)

Of course anyone with a large plot BUT that wants the luxury of showers and other facilities may choose to use the campsite as well!

Obviously any Lairds that can report back on the facilities here i'm sure others would appreciate it.

What about the Lochaber Highland Estates Keil's Hill camping area? Why no pictures? I assume that it may be little more than a place to pitch a tent or park a trailer (caravan). Still, campers sometimes want the hot showers and amenities and at other times campers like to go to a "primitive" spot with nothing but nature. How about some pictures and description of the Keil's Hill camping area?

Keil Hill doesn't have a "camping area" most people like to camp on their own land, and if not, they can choose any spot they like on Keil Hill to camp on,we dont force them into one "camping area"

camping

I observe that the ability to camp at Keil Hill comes with buying one of the larger pieces of land. Is this a right that purchasers of larger lots will have forever, or just as long as the owners of the Keil Hill area choose to allow it? Please understand that I'm not being pushy or nit-picky when I ask this. After all, on any given day, one's own land could be too wet or too covered with vegetation to put up a tent or park a trailer (caravan) on it. Hence my question: Is the right to camp in the Keil Hill area something that buyers of bigger parcels get forever, or just as long as the true sellers/owners of the Keil Hill area want to allow it?

Hello, to clarify it is a right that stays forever not just short-term. We plan never to sell Keil Hill but if it were ever to be sold then it is in the restrictions to the new owners that the owners of certain plots in Lairds Wood have rights to camp. So that can never be taken away from you.
